It was a great Honor to be part of the ride, it was a great ride for a great cause, extremely organized and a great group of Men and Woman. All with a common cause and goal. I would like to participate in next year's Ride from NYC to Washington D.C. Can someone let me know how to get on e-mail list for info on this event? Is there a website yet? Keep Up The Great Work!

I just started to write my book and the first chapter is about the Best Ride of My Life!!! This event changed my life. I was so honored to be riding on the back of Harleys', and in the cab carring the FireEngine and the Transport vehicle carring the STEEL. The meaning of this Event, and the incredible men and woman who were involved, will be with me my entire life. PATRIOTISM IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN THE HEARTS OF THE FIREMEN, POLICE, FIRST RESPONDERS, HOMELAND SECURITY, VETERANS, ETC. Love you all and miss you, especially, Patty, Mike A. Spock, Richie, Mike S. Larry, Frank, Harry, Danny, Marge and Joe, and so many more I can't remember all the names. (Thank you for letting me either ride on the bikes with you, or ride with you either pulling the STEEL or the FireEngine. All the Best, Susan Rescorla

It is with regret that I inform you that Lance Corporal John Nash of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, one of our escorts, died in the line of duty, while escorting a memorial run on Saturday. Please keep his family and patrol family in your prayers. There has been a request if any one has pictures of the SCHP to reach out to them.

I want to thank each and every one of the New York City Firemen that came to Ft. benning, GA for the presentation of the steel beam to be part of the RICK RESCORLA statue display at the national Infantry Museum. It was a moving experience for me. I had served with Rick in the 7th Cavalry in Viet Nam 1966. Again THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You Guys are the Greatest !!

From the Spartanburg Public Safety Department's Motor Unit. It was truley an honor to ride with this group. We have been asked to escort many events and this one ranks up there with the most memorable. We hope that we were able to make your journey a little more enjoyable. GREAT JOB GOB BLESS!
